KRISTINA PATTISON is a Montana-based trail runner currently focused on competing internationally in ultra-distance Skyrunning mountain races. Locally, she works as a physical therapist and strength and conditioning specialist for people of all ages and abilities. Formerly, Kristina worked as a wildland firefighter and Missoula Smokejumper and is passionate about helping women dream big and achieve their goals. She plays a key leadership role for Montana Trail Crew—a portion of the non-profit organization Run Wild Missoula—committed to trail maintenance and stewardship in Missoula. As part of this community, she writes, leads group runs for women, mentors local runners, organizes fundraisers, gives informational presentations, participates in trail work projects, and co-directs the Annual Mountain Running Film Festival.

Helped Team USA take 4th for women at the 2016 World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in Slovenia

One of less than 150 women in over 35 years who have qualified to work as a US Forest Service Smokejumper—parachuting into remote and rugged lands to fight wildland fires
